Promgirl makes all of this happen from headquarters in Middletown, Delaware and New York City.

The Promgirl Communications Team is seeking Communications Interns. This is the perfect opportunity for an aspiring entrepreneur looking for exposure to the inner workings of a fashion and technology company. As a member of our nimble team you will have an immediate impact on our business and see your ideas comes to life and your contributions put to immediate use. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

COMMUNICATIONS

  • Draft/distribute internal content, including memos, staff newsletters, blog posts, internal social media platforms
  • Engage with visitors to NY office, greet them, connect with individual(s) in NY
  • Maintain near impeccable first impressions for visitors by ensuring common areas are organized and orderly (conference rooms, reception, kitchen etc.)

CULTURE

  • Brainstorm/facilitate cultural initiatives that boost morale, encourage communication and foster engagement (contests, events etc.)
  • Dream up initiatives, processes, ideas that positively affect culture and environment of company

OPERATIONS

  • Coordinate charitable giving program
  • Conduct ad hoc research assignments as needed
  • Attend meetings (virtual, in person) as needed, keep minutes and list of action items, distribute minutes and enter action items into Asana

 

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Someone who takes initiative and is an independant, creative problem solver
  • Excellent communication skills with a penchant for writing
  • Works well under pressure and uses good judgement when interpreting instructions
  • Must have the ability to multi task
  • Enthusiastic and excited to work with a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

 

INTERNSHIP DETAILS:

TERM: September - December (we are flexible on start and end dates)
SCHEDULE: Maximum of 20 hours/week (flexible on which days)
PAY: College credit, travel stipend
