US: A highly profitable ecommerce company offering the largest selection of special occasion dresses online. Our mission is to create trust with customers at an early age and support them during some of the most important moments throughout their entire lives. We are changing the process of buying special occasion formalwear into one that is fast, easy and that brings happiness and joy to the doorstep of every customer. The “bringing happiness and joy” thing is what makes us tick - it drives us to lead, inspires us to innovate and keeps us coming back to the office every day.

YOU: A bright, motivated, ecommerce warrior ready to bring joy and happiness to customers across the country and around the world. Collaborative by nature. Possessing a sense of humor. Equipped with a problem-solving toolbox that includes creativity, a sharp analytical mind, perseverance, and guts. Passionate about using data to make decisions that lead to effective customer experience innovation. You take occasional crazy in stride because, after all, you're helping to disrupt an amazing fun industry. Oh, and you agree that coming to work in the heart of NYC’s Times Square is pretty cool.

Role:
Email Marketing Manager: We need someone whose primary skillset is developing an email strategy (how we segment customers, frequency, and content direction to motivate behavior), developing and executing tactics to increase subscription, be responsible for email analytics (what's working, what's not) and manage email execution every day. We have a strong creative team so the email marketer wouldn't have to develop creative on his or her own but lead idea generation, set priorities, and manage deliverables with our creative team. The primary measures of success for this role are revenue generation and email community growth.

The fit:
This job is not for the faint of heart. We work together in a tight collaborative team and have high expectations for each person to take initiative and contribute to the company’s success. You will define your own priorities to deliver against our bold goals. You will decide how to spend your time. You will measure your own success. But if you’re the right person, that’s how you like it. The most important qualities we look for in all team members: integrity, initiative, confidence, accountability, humility, and a sense of humor (because hey, we want to like working with you!).

Specific qualifications we are looking for include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics or statistics.
  • 1-3 years online marketing and/or product marketing experience in ecommerce, retail, or technology companies.
  • 1-2 years of experience leading email marketing for a B2C product company targeting women. (Huge plus for 2-3 years recent experience in a startup environment.)
  • High attention to detail and consistent track record in assuming ownership, making things happen and moving quickly to implement ideas in a fast-paced online environment.
  • A passion for data. You love running reports and deftly organizing information. You’re skilled at synthesizing insights and succinctly communicating results. You get intense satisfaction from developing logical recommendations using data.
  • Excellent common sense judgment. You know the right questions to ask and you can get to the answers quickly without getting bogged down in overly complex analyses.
  • Advanced Excel skills – you’re such a pro, people come to you for advice.
  • Experience with outside vendors. You not only know how to handle vendors, you know when vendors are necessary (or not).

What we offer:

  • A competitive salary with annual bonus potential
  • Medical, vision, dental and life insurance with low contributions from employees
  • Employee discounts
  • Free snacks and coffee (occasional company lunches too, cuz why not?!)
  • A culture that is family oriented, fun and a little out there (annual spirit week? CHECK. Flashpoll Friday CHECK.)

QUICK NOTE!
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
